Great Experience!
The organisation was good, and the answers to my questions came quickly. However, I still had to ask about the tour time the night before, at around 21:00 hrs, as well as about the payment, which had already been received. Benzo, my tour guide, arrived at 08:30 instead of the confirmed time of 10:30 hrs. Unfortunately, he had to wait, as I had been planning to visit Kigali beforehand. Despite this, Benzo did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting and useful information throughout the trip. I was very satisfied with his service and enjoyed the tour.

Smooth trip!
We loved our safari with NextGen, everything went smoothly from the airport pickup, gorilla and golden monkey trekking, and relaxing at the Lake Kivu. We loved our guide Victor who introduced us to Rwanda and spent the 5 days with us. How much does a gorilla permit cost in Uganda?

How far in advance should I book my permit?
As early as possible, especially during popular travel periods. Permit quantities are limited and last-minute requests may not be available.
Can I book a permit without purchasing a safari package?
This website is designed for permit-only enquiries. Confirm with the booking team whether any additional services are required for your trip.
What is the difference between trekking and habituation?
Trekking generally allows one hour of viewing with a habituated gorilla group, while habituation can offer up to four hours with a group undergoing habituation.
How do I know my permit is confirmed?
An enquiry acknowledgement is not a reservation. You should receive explicit confirmation and the relevant booking documentation after the permit is secured.
Can I cancel or change my trekking date?
Changes and cancellations are subject to the applicable UWA rules and the company’s published terms. Ask for these before payment.
